Vietnam: Cambodia- Phenom Penh and Angkor Wat.. I am so excited about this trip and I will be so so sad if I don't get it..
I am also organizing a South African safari.. I talked to about 8 other SASers and I'm pretty sure were doing a 3-day camping safari in Kruger National Park..
I got my shots! oh boy that was rough.. I got Yellow Fever, Polio Vaccine, Hep A, and I can't remember the 4th-- but I have to go back and get a tetanus booster also.. eek I hate shots..
What else.... I started making a list of things I want to pack and I am doing as much research as I can. I just finished reading a book called "Kaffir Boy" by Mark Mathabane and it is an autobiography about living in South Africa during apartheid in Alexandra.. it is amazing!.. Actually, Archbishop Desmond Tutu was mentioned on the first page which just makes me extra excited because I am going to be living with that man!! I can't wait...!!
Today is Christmas!! I got 2 blank journals.. I'm excited because I think that this voyage is going to help me start writing again.. I'm going to be walking around the countries jotting down notes and stuff.. can you imagine? haha..
We are supposed to find out which pre-sale trips we are definitely going on the 1st or 2nd week of January so I will post the trips I got and their descriptions.!! 40 days and counting.. can't come soon enough!!
Oh!! The Eagles won today-- I don't know what I will do if we make the Super Bowl.. 1st of all it is in Miami.. 2nd of all its on Feb 4th.. I may have to meet the boat in Puerto Rico!!! haha
